  • Micah Brown

    Filmmaker / CEO | Second Wind Creative

    Hard work has never been a stranger to Micah Brown, a former two-sport athlete in both football and track at the University of Kansas. After dropping a track scholarship to walk on for football, he became a hero in the 2008 Orange Bowl team by catching a fake punt that helped . The catch earned Micah a scholarship, and helped secure KU their first BCS Championship.

    Today, Micah is one of the most sought after Director/Showrunners in the sports documentary industry. He has been awarded multiple Emmy’s for his work and has earned the trust of some of the top television networks in the world, including ESPN, Showtime, Peacock, NFL Network, Netflix, Fox Sports, HBO, NBC Sports, CBS Sports, Big 10 Network, Golf Channel, and Amazon.

  • David Ochoa

    Area Executive Director | Mid-America - St Jude Children Hospital

    A native of Houston, Texas, David attended the University of Kansas as a student-athlete where he was a two-time captain and named all Big XII as a senior for the Jayhawks. After graduating from the William Allen White School of Journalism and completing his master’s degree in education, he began his career with the Kansas University Alumni Association. He then went on to serve in several fundraising positions with the Kansas University Endowment, most recently as the Team Lead and Development Director for the KU School of Medicine. After a ten-year career with the University, David then served as the Executive Director of the Hispanic Development Fund whose mission is to improve the lives of Latino families in Kansas City.

  • Mike Rivera

    Associate Broker | Asset Management Group

    A native of Shawnee, Kansas, Mike attended the University of Kansas from 2004-2008. As a student-athlete, he was a two-time captain, 2005 Fort Worth Bowl Champion, 2008 FedEx Orange Bowl Champion and 2008 Insight Bowl Champion.

    After graduating from the University of Kansas with a master of science in sports administration, he went on to pursue opportunities in the NFL from 2009 to 2013. Ending his career with the New England Patriots, Mike decided to anchor in Kansas City. After retiring from the NFL, Mike refocused his efforts in pursuing a career in commercial real estate.

    Currently, Managing Director of Brokerage with Asset Management Group (AMG). AMG sponsors and syndicates commercial real estate investments in Kansas City and the surrounding region. AMG has been recognized as one of Kansas City’s top commercial real estate firms, managing office, retail, industrial and multi-family property.

    Algen Williams

    President/ CEO | MMQ Group

    Algen has dedicated his career to assisting sports clients to maximize their revenue potential through creative fan engagement experiences. As a former collegiate student athlete and a licensed architect, he brings a unique perspective to sports facility strategic planning, programing, budgeting, management and design. Algen is a trusted advisor to a wide network of decision makers in the sports market which has allowed him to complete over $3 Billion dollars of sports facility design over the last 20 years.

  • Brandon McAnderson

    Broadcaster | Jayhawk Sports Radio

    A native of Lawrence, Kansas, Brandon attended the University of Kansas as a student athlete. Brandon was a team captain of the 2008 Orange Bowl Championship team, and was All Big 12 in 2006 and 2007 at Running back. After signing with the St. Louis Rams out of college and spending a year chasing the NFL dream he became interested in stepping into the sports media land scape. Hosting podcasts, taking weekly radio segments, and doing pre and postgame KU Football analysis for Spectrum. In 2020 he officially joined the Jayhawk Radio network as a sideline analyst. He hosts The Crimson and Blue pregame show and provides in game analysis, and postgame interviews with coaches and players.

    Brandon is also active in the Kansas City community participating in multiple philanthropic endeavors aimed at destigmatizing, discussing, and organizing men to come together and grow spiritually to enrich lives and address commonly held, harmful male stigmas.
